A do-over on some older photos
Try as I might with colour, I'm never as happy with the results as I am with a good monochrome image.
Don't get excited, I am not in California. I was, though; back in 2017 I was staying at a place in Pacific Palisades and I'd taken my Nikon and some lenses with me. I was pleased with some of the pictures that came out of that trip but others less so. Noodling around in Lightroom this morning, I decided to experiment with a high-key fine art black and white look and I'm quite pleased with the results.
Try as I might with colour, I'm never as happy with the results as I am with a good monochrome image. That's my failing, and I just need to work harder with colour.
