Morning Pages
Mastodon, briefly, and some morning reading.
Are we leaving Twitter for Mastodon? The jury is out for me. I don't feel much loyalty to Twitter any more, but I follow a lot of people on there and it's great for breaking news and for making me laugh.
I've had a Mastodon account (I'm @juliansimpson@mastodon.social) since 2017 and, going back to it the other day, I'm impressed with how it now looks and how it's all working. Mastodon is the better platform in any number of ways. I hope it takes off, part of me hopes it turns out to be the Twitter-killer. But we've been here before and I know it will take a lot for regular Twitter users to delete their accounts.
